This World Environment Day, it’s time for NATURE.
In these times of global challenges, climate change, pandemic, biodiversity lose, nature is sending us more and more clear messages that no one can stay in the safe zone when environment is in degradation, that we must take immediate and collective actions to protection our mother nature and sustain ourselves.
At this exceptional time, we need to unite closely more than ever with all the nations, all the industries, all the cultures, to act together, through eco-innovation and find a green development path.
On the occasion of the World Environment Day and 113th anniversary of Tongji University, IESD is delighted to host the World Environment Day Event in Tongji with the theme Eco-innovation towards Green Development and the 2020 Alumni Reunion event online.
We are also proud to say that, up to 2020, more than 3000 emerging leaders from nearly 100 countries participated in various degree and capacity-building programmers including the flagship Asia Pacific Leadership Programme (APLP). Our alumni are pursuing their career in UN agencies, international organizations, private companies, private sectors or being entrepreneurs, playing important leadership roles on different positions.
This WED event intends to bring together professionals from different sectors and industries, under the theme of green development and eco-innovation, to share knowledge and experience in their career, to build friendship and partnership for collective wisdom, and to act together for the nature.
